MARCH 20, 2006....Robert Ballou and the Ballou Motorsports team headed to Bakersfield Speedway to do battle with the National Sprint Tour.

It was "The Rocklin Rocket's" first visit to the track. Robert didn't disappoint as he transferred out of his heat, which put him in the 16th starting position in the main event.

The hard hitting Don Ott racing engine quickly moved Robert up to 9th. Unfortunately on his drive to the front he got collected which sidelined him for the evening.

Race fans will be able to catch the immaculately prepared #12 this upcoming weekend for Friday's portion of The Silver Cup at Chico. Then on Saturday at Placerville Speedway for the Golden State Challenge Series.
