Robert Ballou and the Ballou Motorsports team had a busy
weekend as they raced Friday night at Silver Dollar
Speedway then made the trek to Tulare's Thunderbowl
Speedway, to race with The Golden State Challenge Series
and the wingless Sprint Car Racing Association.
Friday night in Chico, Robert won heat #2, then
proceeded to finish a strong 10th in the main event.
In Tulare SCRA action, Robert qualified a stout 5th,
finished 2nd in his heat, 2nd in the dash and excited
fans with a battle for the lead in the hotly contested
main event, settling for 2nd.
Rare motor gremlins plagued us all evening for the GSC
portion of the evening.
Our next event will be this Friday at Silver Dollar
Speedway, where again Robert will do double-duty. We
will be running the 410 as well as a Spec-Sprint.
Saturday it's on to Reno-Fernley Raceway for another
exciting round of GSC racing.
