July 5th, 2006...After
a strong but disappointing ending during Antioch GSC main
event action last Saturday night, Robert Ballou sought
redemption at Silver Dollar Speedway in 410 Sprint Car
action Tuesday night.
"We'll get them in
Chico!", Robert commented on the upcoming show on
the 4th.
"The Rocklin
Rocket" held true to his word, and The Ballou
Motorsports motto; "We Are Committed To
Winning!"
Robert dug deep all night.
He timed the MAXIM 7th quick out of the 33 car field. In
Heat # 3, Robert started in the 5th position, when the
green waved he was on the hammer big time and the Don
Ott Racing Engine held up to Robert's challenge,
finishing 2nd, and transferring into the show.
When the green lights went
on for the main event, the "Heavy D" prepared
mount was working to perfection. Robert led all 25-laps
to bring home his 3rd main event win of the season.
Ballou Motorsports will
again be at Chico this Friday and Saturday for more
winged Sprint Car action.
